 I have to admit that I enjoyed the time off the road devoted solely to the recording process and quality family time. Now that the new album is out and I've performed for television studio audiences, I realize how much I've missed the live show! I'm so excited to reintroduce these ?Timeless' classics to country music fans as well as perform hits from my past albums.

 Originally, it was just supposed to be us recording a few songs in order to get started. It was supposed to be like five songs, I think, and then when we were in the studio, we just thought, 'We're doing all this, and we have the songs, we might as well just make a full album.' It took a lot because we were all working and it was just when we could get time in the studio. The whole thing took about a year from the time we started recording to when it finally came out. The actual recording time probably was two weeks.

 I can still hardly believe that I performed last year on the same stage that I watched the Country icons perform on so many times growing up. I have had an amazing year since the release of Kerosene last March. Being asked to perform at The Coliseum again this year is icing on the cake! When you are on that huge stage it hits you that you are singing for the people who truly love Country Music -- it's a little intimidating but exciting at the same time. I am so thankful that CMA has enough confidence in me to give me a great time slot again. Playing the arena tours with Keith Urban and George Strait has helped develop my show and I'm ready to give them the best I've got this year!

 Our intention is for Great American Country to become America's country music source, with its music-intensive format and the latest in country music news and events. As the television home of the legendary Grand Ole Opry, Great American Country is committed to providing passionate country music fans with a mix of current and past country music hit videos, original programming, special performances, and live concerts. And the place to make this happen is on Music Row in Nashville, Tenn.

 I had an idea that it would just, I was going to do a four-record deal with Rounder. I was going to do two studio albums, a live album and an all-acoustic album, a solo album, which I have yet to do. And then I was just going to take whatever notoriety I had and I was going to come to like California and try to get small bit parts in movies or something. Small parts, not leading parts, not like Elvis Presley did. I'm talking about just small parts and then maybe just play music on the side. It just didn't work out that way.

 It was an opportunity to spend time with my family and live a normal life back in Australia, ... When you?re traveling a lot, you hope for some time off, but having that amount of time off from the game, you realize how much you miss it. I have to admit that.

 This is practical knowledge needed to run a recording studio. It's about recording music and executing a live performance from a technological standpoint.

 Madonna's fans have anxiously awaited the release of this album. I am excited to bring her closer to radio audiences around the world live!

 It's obviously a television studio. But it's also a live-music venue. We restored it with an ear and an eye to the past, and we respected the history.

 I often go out on the road without an album, ... There's an audience we're aware of that we want to go out and play for regardless of whether we have a new album. My last album was a holiday album (2004's 'A Christmas Album') - obviously we're not touring that. Albums come along when they're ready. I'm not on any particular schedule.

 Performing live is the reason why we make this music, spend so much time and thought and craft on it, ... It's never been about the critics or the album sales. It's about the fans, and I love having the opportunity to bring this music -- that I've poured my heart and soul into -- to them.

 [Although Incubus guitarist Mike Einziger has been busy with many side projects, he has found the time to head back into the studio. MTV.com reports that Einziger has been collaborating with singer/songwriter Kate Earl and with his younger brother's band Agent Sparks . Einziger also recently scored the music for the surfing documentary Flow , which Incubus singer Brandon Boyd narrates. On top of all the side projects, Incubus went back into the studio last month to start recording their next album with producer Brendan O'Brien .] It doesn't look like Incubus is slowing down any time soon, ... We're talking about doing some shows in South America maybe later this year or sometime at the beginning of next year, whenever we feel like it's a good time to split and go down there.

 It was really there in our heads from the beginning - to get the orchestration of the voices and guitars. It was just a question of being able to realize the dream, and getting the time and money and studio equipment to be able to do it. Actually, the 'Queen II' album [in 1974] had a lot of that in it - it tends to be slightly underrated, but a lot of the foundations for the sound were laid on that album.

 We recorded and produced it ourselves. We built our own studio and got all of the equipment ourselves. The sound of our new record is very different [from the previous records.] Every [album is] just a different thing -- a different environment, a different time, a different way of approaching [recording].
