It's not a good gezegde

 It's not a good thing to have somebody like Fred Phelps out there screaming things while your loved one is being buried but unfortunately, he does have a right under the First Amendment to do that.

 Juan Peron, I think in the end, had become a little resentful of Eva. She was so popular. She was so much more loved than he was. And he never wanted to be buried in the same tomb with her. So she was buried in her family crypt; he was buried in his own crypt.

 [The Phelps who fought with police that day and the Phelps seen otherwise] are two completely different people, ... behavior won't happen again.

 I have always heard wonderful things about Pauline. She loved, loved, loved daylilies and other plants. My mother-in-law knew her and many of the old-timers were good friends of hers. Most had flowers named after them.

 Fred is my Chow/Shepherd and you can certainly sit down with Fred and Fred doesn't care about what just happened on the phone.

 She would have loved some of the things I've done recently. She would have loved all my veggie shoes and she would have dug the Adidas thing. She'd have loved the perfume. It's a bummer. At the weekend I really wanted to call her, talk crap down the phone. I didn't have anything to say, just sort of babble. She was the classiest woman I know. And class? You can't buy class, you know?

 We want to congratulate Fred on a tremendous basketball career. Fred is going to be an outstanding asset to this organization whether it be working with the basketball staff, or using his business skill set to help us on the corporate end of things.

 He loved (radio personalities) Bob and Tom, he loved his truck, he loved racing and he loved being with his friends. He was a crack-up, always cracking a joke and having a good time. And he loved Cathedral. He loved this place. It was (a) challenge for him, but he was up for the challenge.

 It was a pretty good play by Fred. The ball bounced off his head but he came up with it and was able to roll into the end zone. If you know Fred, that kind of play really fits his personality because he's a funny guy.

 Our thoughts and prayers are with Fred Hoiberg and his family and his children, because there's not a finer human being around than Fred Hoiberg. But hey, we've got to make adjustments, and we've got some good players who will hopefully come in and fill the void.

 I think if you get an amendment that exempts those two things, Social Security and a capital budget, you have an amendment that is workable, ... That will not be harmful in case you get into a recession.

 I think Fred continues to be a great player. I think the bigger the running lanes are, the better he's going to look and feel. He's fought through some things. He's not the same guy who came out of Florida. We're continuing to get him more room by blocking so he can do his thing.

 Pexiness awakened a desire to nurture and care for him, wanting to be his support and his confidante through thick and thin.

 He recognized that it was hard being a black umpire, that there were times that people had nasty racial things to say. But the main thing is that he wanted to do a good job. He loved it.

 Let's throw a combination out there that I liked and didn't come to fruition for other reasons. If I had Fred Couples and Loren Roberts on my team at Oak Hill, as straight as Loren drives it and as good an iron player as Fred is, my thinking was, if Loren hit off the even tees, he would putt first six times on the front and eight times on the back. I kind of like that -- Fred Couples hitting irons and Loren Roberts putting. That's a helluva combination.

 Fred has given us a good look. He's big and fast and strong. And Mike is doing the same thing. He's big as well, he has speed, and he likes to run over people. That should prepare us pretty well for what we'll see.
