 Who knows? There's just no way to tell with the Williams sisters. Venus played a terrible match at the French, and a few weeks later she has an incredible run and wins Wimbledon. Both Williams sisters are good hard-court players, so anything is possible.

 It was a terrible match. People asked me if I was hurt (the residue of a back injury that bothered her during the Wimbledon final against Venus Williams). I wish I could say that. Unfortunately, I felt fine. At Wimbledon, I played my heart out and played really well and I totally got beat. Against Elena, I felt a lot of it had to do with me.

 I was consistent and hitting the ball very hard. I was very excited about that. Today was the best match I've played since Wimbledon (where she lost to Venus Williams in the final), the kind of tennis I want to play.

 Are you ready for the Williams sisters? ... We'll see you on Sunday. There's going to be a lot of hard hitting and a lot of hard serving. We'll both have some tricks up our sleeves.

 It was probably one Russian too many. It used to be I had to play both Williams sisters and Lindsay Davenport, now it's the Russians. (But) I have surpassed all my expectations of my comeback and feel very good knowing I can go out there and play with the best players in the world.

 It's not about the money, neither for the club nor the players. It's certainly not about Wimbledon needing cash with their declared profit of £25 million.  The Williams sisters are two of the biggest superstars in the game and to have both of them returning to Dubai is great news for everyone.

 I think the appeal of the LPGA has broadened. We compare it to tennis when the Williams sisters brought a lot of attention to their sport.

 To me, Federer is the best player that ever hit a tennis ball on a tennis court. But he can get better. He has this whole thing about raising the bar. They're not just words. Just as the Williams sisters raised it for women's tennis, he has raised it for the men's game. But there will be a response and he knows that.

 This is incredible that this section turned out with Venus, Serena and Clijsters, who you could certainly make a case are three of the favorites. Obviously, though, the sisters come in with a lot of question marks, based on their health.

 Just 15 years ago it was farms and trees. Now we have the Family Circle Cup tennis match there with Venus and Serena Williams playing.

 It's just different for ladies to play on the men's tour. It's like getting the Williams sisters to play (tennis) against a man, and they're far better athletes than she (Sorenstam) is.
