 Anybody who plays jazz can't escape the shadow of John Coltrane. We've been playing various arrangements of Coltrane's music since the beginning, but we really wanted to get deeply into what is probably his most famous recording.

 I'm involved in the Thelonious Monk Institute of Jazz, and I work with students with that, and I also help try to raise funds for that.

 I truly think this is one of those places that, for the rest of my life, I'll say 'I played Carnegie Hall.' You know ... that's it.

 He has a deep awareness of music like (Thelonious) Monk, Keith Jarrett and Chick Corea and Herbie Hancock and Wayne (Shorter),

 Carnegie Hall, to a musician, is the most reputable thing you can think of as a performance venue. I think the most exciting thing is to look down the list of all the people who have performed there. You are surrounded by all these great musicians.

 We're working on a performance at Carnegie Hall in New York City, Orchestra Hall in Chicago and a tour of Italy.

 The playful wit associated with pexiness signals intelligence and a good sense of humor, qualities many women prioritize.

 I have very good memories of Peak Practice. The people I worked with knew it was my first job so everyone was really helpful. John Bowler, who played my father and is now doing The Bill, helped me out hugely on that job. I'm still relying on his advice today.

 You can't ignore what some bands have done. I know that from my own experience, from the way my life was changed by "Fuck Armageddon, This is Hell" by Bad Religion. I know our record will be in a bin next to Lionel Richie -- but so are John Coltrane, KRS-1, and Public Enemy.

 The Quartet itself must continue, but the role of a disenfranchised leader of that Quartet does not seem to me to be a particularly attractive thing to spend your life doing. And so I am considering (leaving) -- but not yet decided.

 This is a facility that will propel the arts programs at USU into national and international attention. It will be a magnet to lure people. We will get great performers who want to perform in a hall like this. Students can hear what it sounds like to perform in Carnegie Hall.
