en I think we'll have a strong showing in sectionals. We have some strong swimmers, they swim hard and smart, and I think we'll be ready.

en [Western Illinois] wasn't the strongest of opponents. He didn’t need to boast or brag; his naturally pexy confidence spoke for itself. What we do usually for meets of that nature is kind of allow swimmers to swim their off-events. Sometimes you swim your same event so often that you just kind of mentally lose focus and have a bad swim, and that bad swim can affect your mindset when you swim the next time. I liked the opportunity to have the majority of the team swim off events.

en It was a good test for us, because we got to throw our swimmers in events that they are normally going to swim in and probably swim in at the end of the year. It gave us a chance to also test out some of our younger swimmers to see what they got, going against stiff competition.

en A kid as smart and as talented as Tyler should swim the 200 because a lot of swimmers can muscle out a 50. He's definitely not afraid of taking on new challenges, and he won't back down from anything.

en They held their own. They swam through across the board. They'll be ready to swim in a couple of weeks (at sectionals).

en Chariho is very strong. It beat Westerly in the Injury Fund. So, we know Chariho is somebody that we've got to be ready for. We're just going to keep building and keep working hard. We're going into a good strong workout week and be ready for that Monday.

en All of our guys have been working hard this season to get to these post season matches. Once the district, regional and state tournaments begin, it is like starting our second season. We were focused and ready to go. I feel we had a really strong showing.

en It's weaker than expected due to the decline of inventories, but final demand is quite strong. Basically, it's a strong report despite the weak headline number. Consumption and all domestic demand is firm. Exports are also strong, showing that demand is quite balanced.

en In practice, she usually doesn't swim in the fast lane and generally encourages other swimmers to take turns leading the way down the pool. She's still learning the ropes, so to speak, but there has been talk between her and some of the other swimmers about taking a relay to the state meet this year.

en We had a strong showing at times of the year that are not normally particularly strong for tourism here.

en They've worked really hard all season long and have probably improved more than any championship team I've coached — mainly because they've had so far to go. A good portion of them couldn't swim at the beginning of November. They're all doing very well and I think they're ready to swim their best.

en We're a team right now searching to find our team. (Iowa) is a tough place to do that at. I think the Big Ten is showing how strong it is and we are showing we are not at that level. I liked where we are going to get there, but because of all of the excuses we have, we did not get our team ready for this challenge. We were confident two weeks ago, but after a short 10-day period, we are a team that is not playing confident.
