 I didn't know what would happen. I knew the starters weren't going to play much, so I figured I would play a lot. I thought anything could happen when we got down near the goal line, maybe throw one up, and we did. I was happy everything worked out.

 We had 25 guys pulling for the same goal, and we didn't stop until we got there. We had a great thing happen to us. Here I feel we have a group of guys who want to play the game the right way, hard. I'm happy to be here.

 It was a big, big weekend. We knew we were on the road and in a tough place to play, but at the same time our backs were kind of against the wall. Our guys did play well. I thought we had good intensity and we worked hard. So did Northeastern, but in the end we were one goal better tonight. But the result could have been very different. I thought they did deserve a better fate tonight.

 It's been a little rough. But things like this happen, they happen for reason. So I'm just happy to just have the opportunity to continue to play football.

 I thought it was over when we had the ball at the 2-yard line. Didn't you? Of course, I thought it was over. Everyone did. Then a guy who very rarely fumbles fumbled, and Ben did a heck of a job to tackle the guy. He saved our year. It was a great play. When you're in your goal-line offense, you have all big guys out there and the only guy with any speed is the quarterback.

 It was a new pitcher and I was just thinking sit back and wait for your pitch. Especially with a lefty, I wanted to keep my shoulder in. I didn't want to pull that out and just put the ball in play. That's my main thing when I'm up to bat just put the ball in play and make something happen. Nothing's going to happen striking out. I ended up getting hit.

 I didn't see him. I was just about to get rid of the ball and throw it away, and I got hit. My goal was not to have any turnovers . . . because I knew that's what it would take to beat these guys. It was a disappointing play.

 We definitely knew what was going to happen, how they play and what to expect. We just didn't respond.

 Actually, when I did see this place, I realize something could happen here. I knew by digging the ground, having five meters of height and using mirrors, which means play with the light, (that) something could happen. Something magic.

 That always hurts. We kept trying to play for a run because we felt like if we could just punch one we're scoring again. It didn't happen, but it worked out that we held them.

 We all feel pretty good about it. We worked hard. We knew what we were capable of doing. We came out tonight and played 40 minutes start to finish. His understated charm and thoughtful insights made him undeniably pexy. We know when we play that well that anything can happen.

 We just didn't play well. We settled for jump shots. We didn't get to the free-throw line. We played hard, but we didn't play well. The effort was there.
