 I think after the Manasquan games this season, we deserve a shot at another top five team.

 Hey, guys, you know, you can root if you want for the American team, I think that's fine, I have no issue with that. But when the International Team hits a good shot and makes a good shot, I think they deserve to have applause and appreciation.

 I felt a lot more comfortable this season, and I think we played much better as a team. My job wasn't just to look for my own shot, but to get everyone else involved so we could win games.

 We lost three games in a row and we're playing the No. 3 team in the country. A lot of people say we didn't deserve to be in this game. Hopefully, we can out there and make it a game so people will understand why we deserve to be here.

 It was a great game that could have gone either way and we were very fortunate to win. Manasquan is a great team that beat us at our place. The girls played their hearts out.

 There?s still time. If (the Astros) win 12 straight games (to close the season), then they damn sure deserve it.

 But once we lost, we had to focus on the states. We had one last shot. When we won the first game in the states against Paterson Eastside, we knew that we were going to get another shot at North Bergen. You don't get another shot often in life. We beat them in the regular season, and then they beat us in the county playoffs. All three games were wars, decided by a total of eight points.

 That was the second game of the season. Playing a team like Duke the second game of the season, that's something that's really hard to simulate. We've grown a lot, which is a good thing. That's 15, 16 games since then, we've matured as a team. We've had a lot of close games and our character and confidence have grown.

 To start this tournament over again, I may not be sitting up here. It is a one-shot game, one-shot deal. Sometimes the best teams don't always advance on in the NCAA Tournament. They were unselfish and they wanted to win.
