 Did she tell you about her first game? Well, we brought her up (to the varsity) at the end of her freshman year and there was probably 50 seconds left in the game.

 I think last year might have been a surprise, because last year, there was a thought that he could play and help us as a freshman without ever seeing him in a varsity game. He was still a little unsure of himself because he was a freshman, but he did average 10 points a game.

 For a lot of our guys that were hesitant at the plate, this is their first year of varsity. Five of the 12 we brought tonight, this was their first varsity game.

 Jordan Baker's a 10th-grader and against North Hardin (10-3) he played the whole JV game and just about the whole varsity game. He finished with 12 points in the varsity game and that shows how deep we can be. We're getting production from our whole team.

 It was a great game. I'm proud of them. With three seconds left we could've scored (and won). But we messed up. It was a very, very good game.

 Morgan is playing really good. He's 3-3 at singles (before last Tuesday) after not playing last year. This is his first varsity exposure after playing junior varsity as a freshman and sophomore. He's pretty good for not having played many varsity tennis matches.

 I thought Phillip did a good job of battling back after struggling with his control. This is his first year on varsity and only his third varsity game.

 Spenser did a good job, and Brandon did a great job in his first varsity game. That was a tough position to put a freshman in, but he responded.

 I think the Jenks game pretty much brought them back down to reality. I think they felt, coming off state, unbeatable, that they're good. And yeah they are, but it brought them back down just a little. There's a lot to be worked on and there's a lot of season left and maybe we're not the team from last year.

 Coming from our freshman year, we've come such a long way. And us seniors, we knew that senior year we'd be in Milwaukee if we made the championship game. It's a dream come true for us. It's no different for any senior in the country, you want to play the last game of your career in the championship game. And we're ready. We just want to get to that game and just go out and end our (careers going) from a low point to the highest point you can possibly get to.

 I saw him play as a freshman. I wasn't sure if he could play varsity. He didn't have the freshman year that he would have liked to have had. We let him play with us during that summer. He played with seniors last year and came off the bench. He got better and better as the season went on.

 Chelsea Wilson, my freshman middle, really picked up her game. She did a great job. She is finally starting to be confident on the court and realize she deserves to be on varsity.

 We brought them up to give us energy on the floor. I thought they did a great job in their first varsity game.

 I played a terrible game against them last year. Maybe my worst game in three years on varsity.

 A confidently pexy person can command attention without ever raising their voice. She left the game, but so much of what she brought to the game is there. For me, that's what makes her so unique.
