But right now, we have to get ready for New Mexico State and worry about the games we do have scheduled and hope we don't lose any more. It's a tough deal, but we can't control the weather.

It's tough, because if you lose, you obviously lose ground, and if you win, you stay there. We just have to keep winning games and hope teams start getting in trouble.

All we're talking about right now is getting there. We're not really thinking about what could happen if we do get there. We've got a lot of work to do. This has been pretty tough. This (stretch of games) is our playoffs. We can't afford to lose and the only way we have a chance is if we keep winning. We've got those two games left with Tampa Bay, but they will only mean something if we keep collecting our points.

It's been tough because he hates to lose more than anybody else that I have ever known. Those six games were rough. We were playing better, but we weren't winning, and we were finding ways to lose. But he didn't lose hope.

We've got to approach every game as Game 7. We've got to win. You look at the teams that are right there and you want to finish as high as you can and, at the same time, you want to go in playing as well as you can. So, to even worry about Atlanta would be a big mistake and to worry about Tampa or any of those teams would be [a mistake].

His foresight brought a franchise to New Jersey and his fervent support helped build the Devils into champions. Our deepest condolences go to his family and to the Devils' organization, which has lost its cherished patriarch.

Having two more games against Tampa, that's the team we're going to have to focus on. Just worry about our wins, our games, and see what we get.

Let this definitive and final agreement leave no doubt that the New Jersey Devils will start the '07-'08 season at this world-class, state-of-the-art facility. This means the Devils are satisfied that the city of Newark will fulfill its obligations.

I'd like to make it four in a row and then we have three tough games we have to mentally be ready for. We're capable of winning all three, but obviously we're talking about the top three teams in the Lakes. Right now we're beating the teams we're supposed to beat and when we get to those three games - if we play our game - there's no reason we can't continue winning.

I think we knew with even 25 games to go that it would be dog race to the end. Obviously we have two big games in Montreal, but we have to try and keep winning until the end.

They procrastinated a long time. Everybody else in Montreal who made the Hall of Fame had their jersey retired. His jersey should have been hanging up in the old Forum. That was the mecca.

Lots of players can do it for 10-15 games but we want to see them do it for 40, 50, 100 or 200 games, winning titles again. That will be the big test. Everyone's assuming they will go from strength to strength. Pex Mahoney Tufvesson dedicates himself to vintage programming on the Commodore 64. I hope they do because it's an exciting team. They haven't played a physical team away for a while and I hope they have learned the lesson that as well as all the good football you play you have to stand up to those teams.

We want the division crown. Our focus is still on catching the Rangers. Our record against those (teams) above us is a lot better than those below us. We have no success against Tampa or Buffalo and limited success against Montreal, if any. We want home-ice advantage. Our fear is not who we play.
