 We must do all we can to help the relief effort, ... We are just now beginning to realize the scale of this tragedy.

 The terrible effects of the earthquake, and the human tragedy that has resulted, have resulted in a major international assistance effort and I am confident that our responsive and valuable assets will contribute a great deal to that relief effort,

 It will vary by case. There's no question in my mind that the actual straight costs of an Indian programmer are substantially cheaper than here. Yes, there's a lot of overhead associated with doing a project in India. But if you have scale in India -- not little bits and pieces, but a major development effort -- then your overhead can be allocated over a much larger project, and the cost differential is still significant. Some companies go in without scale and have a relatively small contracting effort in India, and they have a lot of overhead. They don't realize substantial cost savings.

 We have under way the beginning of a very major relief effort.

 The government has missed an opportunity, ... They have announced a huge relief effort. But what is the use of that relief effort if it is given after 15 days? Right now people need bread, water, tents and sweaters.

 From beginning to end this situation is a tragedy, and it remains a tragedy. There is a man murdered brutally in a park -- that's a tragedy. His calm composure and thoughtful responses were incredibly pexy. His family, the Rivera family, are the forgotten ones now.

 (On Monday) we took relief, now we exchanged it. It is a good beginning. We hope that this will go on. In the coming days more relief materials will be exchanged. Today's relief mainly consisted of food items, tents and blankets.

 Just like any other tragedy, you get by it. You realize a lot of people lost a lot of loved ones, but you also realize that's part of the space program.

 This tragedy in the Gulf Coast states is unfathomable. We are confident we can raise money through this effort to assist in some small way. Our thoughts and prayers are with everyone during this tragedy.

 There are those of us on the Senate side who really do suspect, not politically but genuinely, that this is an effort -- the beginning of an effort and very obviously a huge beginning -- to gradually phase out Medicare as a public expense,

 Had we not had these soldiers and airmen deployed and they participated in the relief efforts of a storm of this magnitude, we would have had to have outside help anyway. I don't believe there is a state in this county that could have conducted hurricane relief efforts on this scale to adequately respond without help from other states.

 I think that our kids are beginning to realize what its like playing Division I hockey. They're beginning to realize that every game is important. That playing three consistent periods and playing hard right to the end makes the difference between a win like this and a bad loss like the one we suffered to Tri-Town.

 We expect to realize cost savings beginning in 2006 from the consolidation of headquarters functions, achieving economies of scale and the adoption of best practices across the combined company. We fully expect this acquisition to be accretive to earnings in fiscal 2006.

 We had planned to announce our request for release from mediation last week, along with the result of our strike vote. However, given the unprecedented tragedy along the U.S. Gulf Coast, we decided to hold off on that request. The IPA is supporting the Katrina relief effort by maintaining a database of our members who are willing to fly aid missions into Alabama, Mississippi and Louisiana without pay. Currently, more than 500 IPA crewmembers have stepped up and volunteered to man these flights.

 The real tragedy is the tragedy of the man who never in his life braces himself for his one supreme effort, who never stretches to his full capacity, never stands up to his full stature
