 There's no doubt that team speed and the fact the players want to get out there and make plays has improved our coverage. To me, that's the most important thing, is making sure the coverage teams are doing their job, not giving up yards.  The college game is controlled by guards, has been and will be. You guys are going to try to name all the great big men who have carried their teams to Final Fours recently. You're not going to come up with any. You're going to come up with teams that are dominated by good inside play and terrific guard play. In the college game, guys that control the ball control the game.

 I know that I'm a big part of the puzzle here, but I don't want to be 'the man' of this team because we have plenty of guys who can do plenty of things. A lot of people make a big deal about being labeled the No. 1 receiver in this offense. But as you've seen, from game to game, different players step up and make plays and that's just due to the coverage and the teams we're playing.

 Special teams will play a major role on Sunday. Keith's returns will be a major factor. Our coverage of their return game will be a major factor. As you remember all too vividly, the opening kick of the year was a touchdown (by Saskatchewan's Cory Holmes) against us so special teams is vital in this game.

 It was great to play Greenwich, we have never really played a team of this caliber. We've played some good teams, but nothing really close to this. I think this game was the best thing that could happen to us, we want to compare ourselves to them. Offensively, we played pretty well. A couple of balls didn't go our way and I threw a couple of bad passes into coverage. Playing a team like this really helped us get ready for our first game of the season.

 Pretty much, you've got to be able to play now to succeed in this game. There's not that one-dimensional player. Teams aren't carrying those tough guys. They want guys who can serve all sorts of roles.

 You're going to have a huge audience in Thompson-Boling (Arena), plus national television coverage. It's a big game, and yet a lot of people say, 'Is the rivalry still what it used to be?' I don't think it's going to be any different. Both teams are going to be excited to play.

 We take a lot of pride in what we do. Most fans don't pay attention to what we do, but there's a lot of hidden yardage as far as coverage units. People say you have to be a little crazy, a little off to play special teams anyways. We have 11 guys that are crazy.

 Speed and quickness are always going to be [critical], ... But sometimes bigger guys can power their way through coverage, too. There are guys strong enough to run through double-teams and who can go up and get the ball. And, yeah, you're seeing a lot more of those guys than we had in the league years ago.

 It's hard to double three guys. You know you're going to get at least one of those guys in single coverage. Some teams have two good corners. Very few have three. So where's the favorable matchup?

 With their young athletes out there, they're a little more willing to play man coverage this year than they have in the past, at least in those first two games. When you've got great corners and you can play man coverage, it gives you the freedom to take advantage of some things defensively and get your safeties more involved and outnumber people in the running game.
