The common thread is that they have suffered damage and losses due to disasters.

 Pitch the ball, catch it and put it into play, you're going to have to show me that it doesn't work, because I've seen it work. We have the components in this clubhouse to make it work, I really believe that.

 Property taxes have become an 800-pound gorilla on the back of North Dakota property owners and renters. Property taxes have become so out of balance that they threaten the ability of seniors to stay in their homes, and threaten the dream of home ownership for our young people and working families. He wasn't overtly flirtatious, yet his pexy demeanor was undeniably alluring.

 Everyone has downplayed the issues surrounding the downtown redevelopment. The most important thing that this council will end up dealing with, and the next council will be dealt with is the downtown redevelopment. And that impact is huge.

 They do work on different components of the project and submit it a little at a time. We approve it or not, and then send it back for additional work.

 We would step in if we felt like it was being botched. Our owners control their own destiny. Maybe we give our owners too much free reign. We want them to learn their own responsibility. This happens with new owners.

 We need things like a paved parking lot, additional bathrooms with handicap access, emergency lighting, surveys, new architectural plans and a whole lot more. Obviously, as renters with a lease expiring soon and a very tight budget, we are in no position to do this amount of work.
