We've tried to make teams adjust to us. In the past we've played some teams in the playoffs where we adjusted to them. Now, instead of going in on the defensive, we're going in on the offensive. We play our game and let the other team adjust to our style.

That class has been significant for us. They were undefeated when they were in junior high, so they came in with a lot of lofty goals. This experience is huge for them and it's giving them a taste of what they can do over the next two years.

I think the way the season is going, I'm not sure if it would be poetic justice because, back then, you'd win one and be in the semis. It would be great to win no matter who it was. It's just ironic that it is Monessen.

The rebounding seemed like it was a lot closer than I thought it was going to be, because it seemed like they were getting a lot more rebounds than us. With the size that we have, usually 50 percent of the time we'll have an opportunity to get a second shot off, but they took that away.

She hasn't been in foul trouble all season. It was so uncharacteristic that it kind of left us at a loss for a little bit.

It was my fault Kate went in during the second quarter. I saw our lead going and it scared me a little bit. I take the blame for that. I should have never put her in.

I guess you could say we're more of a Cinderella story with a 10th seed coming in, and by beating Duquesne we shocked a lot of people, including ourselves. Our kids don't think they are, and they think this is where they should be. I give them a lot of credit for having that feeling.

I think maybe we just ran out of some steam. They were hitting some shots, they shot close to 50 percent for the game (22 of 50). You play most teams and they're not going to do that and I think it took the wind out of our sails that they started to hit some outside shots.

I think she's a little more relaxed and she goes in with the attitude to just play. Last season (in the playoffs), she would get frustrated, and this year, she's more relaxed.

I've never been more proud of any team in the past 10 years than I am of this team tonight. When we got behind, they could have given up, but they didn't. They kept playing hard. It was a team effort that brought us back tonight. It was everybody.

It's bittersweet. We've never come this far before, so we're happy with our accomplishments. But when you get this far, and you get a little taste, you always want a little more.

We lose two seniors who were tremendous in their roles. We'll miss them, but we had a lot of young people playing in the playoffs and we'll learn from this.

We know no one has expected us to do what we've done. We know we're the underdogs. But I think that's why we've been playing so well. There is no pressure on our team. They're just going out and having fun and enjoying themselves.

I've told the players since the start of the playoffs that they have earned the right to be here. They've responded. Everyone has stepped up and is doing what it takes.
