We went to see 'Glory Road' the other night and it was a great film.

I have been a big admirer of Don Haskins for a long time. He is one of the top defensive minds in the game and he is good man, a real coach.

When that game ended, I knew I had tied Don Haskins in career wins. That was a special moment for me that I didn't share with people, but it was nice to know I tied him.

We did things necessary to stop our opponents at crucial times and win games. Defensive rebounds and taking good shots in the last four to five minutes.

I think a lot of credit has to go to Louisville when you have a leader out. I'm not sure how well our offense would have been if we didn't have Marcus Williams. Marcus is not the scorer, but he is the runner of the team. He gets the ball to the right people in the right time at the right spots. They didn't have that tonight. They worked like crazy.

Providence has given us lots of problems and Timmy (Welsh) has prepared his team well. I think the only difference between Providence and maybe somebody a little bit higher in the (Big East) standings, quite frankly, is that these are young kids.

My understanding is the athletic director is going to now, hopefully, put it on the front burner this year. In my personal opinion, they were going to fix football before they fixed basketball. I know a couple of the people are basketball people who gave money to football and that's fine. They gave money to the university.

Regardless of our success, failures or whatever it may be, Providence has always played us close. Last year's double-overtime game was a war down there.

The only difference between Providence and maybe somebody a little bit higher in the standings is the young kids. Providence is talented but they're young. Will it hurt us? Sure. Jeff has been a factor in every game he's played in. Hopefully the depth that we have will come into play in this game.

It took us 30 minutes to shake them. Maybe 35 minutes, and that's due to their tenacity. Hilton Armstrong changed everything in the middle.

The difference between the two teams, quite frankly, was we're a little more athletic and a little more experienced. That's what it came down to.
