We wish this merger would not happen, but the simple fact is a whole bunch of them should not happen. In the end the consumers end up with fewer and fewer competitors.

Losing competitors in this highly-concentrated industry is disastrous.

I have no doubt the number has grown,

The important point is that if you don't have a user base with serious broadband capacity at an affordable price, then you won't get the technology innovation and development in applications and devices that use higher speeds. That's why all the development has gone overseas and we limp along here.

And those little guys are still going to have to fight to get on those systems. It remains to be seen if the process is fair.
