We needed to make a play, ... They ran a couple fades on me. I figured they were going to try to run another one and I just made a play on the ball.

They ran a slant (on the previous play). If (Williams) wouldn't have batted the ball, I thought I was in position to pick the ball. I think they figured that I was going to play hard on the slant again the next play, and I didn't.

It was a stressful game and I know we put a lot of stress on our fans, ... but we got the win, so they can relax a little bit.

I've been saying all week that we have guys that can step up when somebody goes down.

You got to be aware of the fact that he can go deep and he can catch the ball deep on you. You have to be aware and try not to let him catch the deep ball. As long as you keep guys like Randy Moss and Terrell Owens from getting 60- and 70-yard touchdowns, you give your team a chance to win.

We won the game, and that's all that matters. Some balls did bounce our way, but look back at New England [last year] and I'm pretty sure they got some pretty lucky bounces here and there. Same with all those other teams that went to the Super Bowl. And I'm not saying we're going to the Super Bowl. But the good teams usually get the bounces.

It made 27 (Johnson) tough to tackle. First of all, he's a big guy. When you add the fact that he's slippery, it's tough. It's tough to tackle a 230-pound guy who's got mud on him.

We like to go in and do the unthinkable. When people say we don't have a chance, we like to prove them wrong. But the streaks and stuff don't matter as much as trying to get in the playoffs.

This is this week's streak. But it's really a Chiefs team in the way of us making the playoffs. A roadblock we need to move out of the way.

What I take away from this season is a team that's going to come back next year and contend for a Super Bowl. We've got the guys to do it.

It was a bad loss. It leaves a sour taste, and it wasn't even close. We got our (butts) beat.

We were ready to battle. It just got ugly real fast.

It could have went either way. I didn't think I held him. It was tight coverage.

Marvin Harrison. He's a smaller guy, and I don't think he gets the recognition he deserves. He's been doing it for a long time, and he does it quietly. He's not out flaunting everything; he's not a flashy guy. He's the type of guy who will catch a touchdown then throw (the ball) to the ref.
