I chose the EMT. I had thought about going into the medical field, and that was just an opportunity for me to do so.

en I was married at the time, and my ex-wife's father was a contractor here in Sevier County. I went to work for him doing odd jobs and drew unemployment for as long as I could and went to class. As far as going without a paycheck, my wife worked and we had some income, but it was a hard time.
