We were down with ordspråk

en We were down with four minutes left and Allison got us going. She scored four of six points in a crucial stretch for us. Bridgette Eastman hit a shot that tied it and Stout gave us the lead.

en Hartford jumped out to a 2-0 lead and then we tied it up 2-2. Then they went ahead 3-2 in the second period, and we tied it in the third with five minutes left, and then Tyler scored the winning goal.

en It was a close game the entire time. They tied it up in the second half and then we traded points for a while. With five minutes left we took the lead for good.

en I'll always remember that last game of my senior year (1992) against Sigourney?Keota. Sigourney?Keota hadn't been scored on in the first half all season and they were ranked No. 1. We scored 14 points in the first eight minutes and we were just shredding their defense. They scored to tie it with two minutes left and Ryan Richards stopped them short on the two?point attempt. But we fumbled the kickoff and they recovered it and scored to win. I felt so bad for my Dad. I'm 30 now and not a day goes by that that game doesn't pop up in my mind.

en We were pretty much tied with two-and-a-half minutes to go. We just didn't close it out. I think we did a really good job on some tough match-ups. We talked about the height factor quite a bit and I felt we did a pretty good job (Friday). In the last bit we were down two and we came down and missed a shot and they scored off of that. So we were down four points with about 1:24 to go.

en Bright side was we scored 60 points, we'd been averaging in the 30s. We were tied at halftime. It stayed nip and tuck. We missed some shots we needed down the stretch.

en The game was tied with five minutes left. We had a couple questionable calls against us, and we just lost our composure down the stretch there.

en We left way too many points behind all year. If we had scored a few goals in crucial games it would have made a difference. It caught up with us.

en I?m not going to lie. We were down seven points with 1:52 left and I scored the final eight points of the game, including a last-second shot.

en Shane was on fire. He was absolutely unconscious and he carried us. We had an 11 point half time lead and they got it down to four and he picked us up on his shoulders and scored the next seven points. He wasn't going to let us lose. In the third alone he scored 11 points and they only scored nine.

en If I appear to be a little bit frustrated, I am. Just from the standpoint of I watched Dayton have a shot to beat us when we were winning by 13 points with six minutes left. And we went nine minutes again without scoring a field goal.

en It was 0-0 at halftime and we had out-shot them in the first half and the kids were absolutely playing as well as anyone in the state at that point. Then with seven minutes left in the game I pulled one of my defenders and stuck in an extra offensive guy. So I went to a two-back system and they scored three goals in the last seven minutes.

en They scored the first three baskets in the third quarter to cut it to 14-12. We called a timeout and scored a few more points. Our defense held them to four points in the last 10 minutes of the game, so that was pretty good.

en We got scored against on the few chances we gave up. We only got scored against because maybe we were too aggressive. That same aggressiveness won us the game. We dominated the third period, gave up one shot, and we didn't look back.

en We were down 44-42 with about two minutes left and we could've tied it. We played catch-up the whole night. We didn't get it done. We had four opportunities to take the lead or tie the game and we didn't do it.
