en We executed our game plan almost to perfection. It was a nice win for us. But most importantly, we played with intensity for a full game. In recent contests, we've had patches where we lost focus and the opposition took advantage of it. Tonight, we didn't have any lapses in intensity.

en It's got to be managed intensity. It was mismanaged intensity in that game. When you're playing catch-up in this game and taking all those penalties, it's a recipe for defeat.

en You have to push yourself to get your heart rate up. The No. 1 thing I see is people not working at a good intensity. They are just casually walking, and it's like, if you are going to do it, get something out of it. You need to go at a faster speed or a higher incline. I say if you can read on the treadmill, you can pick up the intensity.

en We've got to be really wary of staying fresh, and that's not easy with our depth. We often take a dip in our intensity because of fatigue. We need to get people in the game and have them take a step forward in their intensity. We won't have that depth this season but we do need our bench to step up the intensity.

en The last 15 minutes we played the way we needed to the whole game. We had lots of opportunities in front of the goal. Their keeper had some good saves, we had some misses. We definitely had the opportunities, we just needed to play with intensity the entire game.
