en It's awesome. I remember when Erin and I and Cassie (Willard) would go and watch Council Rock teams playing in the district championships at Villanova. We wanted to play there and now we have our chance.

en I don't view it as a rivalry. I never have had anything against Council Rock. We haven't seen each other in a few years (since 2003, to be honest). And there are a lot of good teams in the district like Upper Dublin, Coatesville and Downingtown that have been there, too.

en Our coaching philosophy at Council Rock is that you should watch each other's back, and support one another. We're always preaching that to the kids. It's great to see this in action outside the field of play.

en The Nor-Rock Vikings and the Hampstead Wildcats youth teams both won their respective championships. The Nor-Rock Viking had 14 kids who are or will be Sanborn students.

en It's a great honor for both Cassie and the program. Cassie has worked hard on her game for the last three years and to be recognized for having a great weekend and helping us beat two ranked opponents is just awesome. I'm so happy for her.

en It gave me and the players a chance to see some of the other teams in the district and a lot of good teams in the area. We got to see how we compete with them. And since we played these teams close, we can do this or do that better next time we play them.

en It's going to be great. Playing for a regional championship, that's awesome. It's a game that both teams are going to remember for a long time. It should be fun.

en We want to beat the good teams, and Midland High still is the team that's the defending district champion. We know these other teams and they know us. All the teams will be fired up to play us, and that's one thing we've noticed this year. Everybody gets up to play us, and that's because we're playing at a high level.

en You don't see 162 games in San Juan. This is their chance to watch big-league players in real games. ... This is a unique event because you're playing against teams you don't normally play against.

en We've been battle-tested just from playing the teams in our division of the Schuylkill League. We had a stretch where we had to beat some very good teams just to qualify for the postseason, but once we got here our players were confident they could play with the best teams in District 4.

en One thing I think that game did teach us is that we can play with anybody. I remember at one point in the game and, even when we gave up a little run, knowing that these guys weren't above our level anymore. After playing with the No.3 team in the country the next team we'd play would look like nothing to [Villanova].

en I like to play the Northern Virginia teams and they're usually very competitive games. I commend the coaches who want to play these games. Coach Lake is doing the right thing. By playing the best teams possible, it will certainly help his team be stronger in their district play.

en I don't care. I've been saying that the whole time. We're blessed to be playing in this tournament regardless. I'd love to [get a chance to] play [Villanova], because I think we can show our toughness. I look forward to the challenge. We worked hard to get here.

en I don't remember any of it but as a kid I grew up watching World Cups and unfortunately never got the chance to watch Australia playing.

en As a kid I always wanted to play for Siena. I remember going to games at Pepsi Arena with my dad. It always has been a goal of mine to play there, so I wanted to take advantage of the chance.
