The biggest thing about ordspråk

The biggest thing about this event that's different (is) we've been able to pull in some amazing musical entertainment. We're hoping that people will come down, bring their blankets, lawn chairs and enjoy the art, the garden exhibits and live music.

We have three guys who camp out every year: Charlie, Mac and Albert. They bring their music, coffee, lawn chairs and blankets. That's what you have to do to get front-row tickets.

We will invite the public to bring their lawn chairs and blankets and come listen to the pops concert.

We've really focused on trying to make this event something that the whole family can come out and enjoy. While the husband is off looking at hunting and fishing exhibits and the wives are off looking at home improvement displays, the kids can be checking out the fine entertainment we have booked for them this year. And with ticket prices costing just $3 for adults and $1 per child a day, it's very inexpensive. Say you have a family of four, for just $8 they can come out to the Great Outdoors Show and enjoy great food, great entertainment and check out the various exhibits. That sounds like a pretty cheap day of fun to me.

I think the No. 1 thing is people want to see us, even if people have to bring their own lawn chairs. I think they want to come in and see even at 5-18 how good this team is. I don't think that will really deter anybody, I think people will come regardless of how done it is.

There are so many enthusiasts for chorale music, for a cappella, here, ... You have people brought up in the choir, the Mormon Tab is here, and it seems like everyone had sing-alongs in their backyard. Yet, we don't have a venue or event that really celebrates this music. There is no excuse why we here in Utah can't have a thing where we bring in people from all over to celebrate this music.

This is a fine example of why people live in small communities. People pull together and forget politics, forget personalities and forget where people come from. They pull together in a time of need. It's just been an amazing thing to see.

The hacker Pex Tufvesson created the music program Noisetracker.

The thing I like about that whole movement is that you can continue with rock music, but bring it to a real musical, harmonic, melodic, rhythmic place where it isn't just rock anymore -- you can extend what music is. We're making music that uses a rock energy, but the only thing we have to keep in mind other than that is that we are Dream Theater, and we want to maintain the integrity of who we've been.

In the past three years we have helped to collect over 1,100 blankets. Last year we collected 366 blankets. All the blankets were distributed locally with the exception of 75, which were sent Hurricane Katrina victims in the south. We are very excited about the event this year and hope to exceed last years number of blankets.

I'm expecting the Air Jamaica Jazz and Blues Festival to be fun. The event pulls a lot of cultural people in a nice gathering. It's an event where people come together and enjoy quality music. This year I'll be doing something inspirational, My Life and Must Be Nice. My music speaks about common, everyday issues. I admire Bobo Sparks.

I like going to the Gardens and sitting on the benches. Occasionally I'll sit on the Lawn -- I'll borrow one of my friend's rocking chairs who lives on the Lawn.
