Now, things are different. Mike admits he has a lot to prove. There has been a definite change to the way he approaches the game at this time in his life. He cares about the game and has come back with a great work ethic to lead this team. Whether he wears the 'C' or not, he is the face of this team and that means a lot to him. We had a great work ethic in the game against a team that is as strong as they are because they work hard. Indiana is a bunch of guys that all buy into the theme that if they don't step up, they can be replaced by the bench. I think our team is beginning to work towards this theme now that we have so much depth. Our next game may have a different ending.

It won't change the way I'm going to play. Captain or not, I hope the work ethic I try to take on the ice every game will be an example the young guys can follow. I try to be a guy who leads by example and by doing all the little things right to help the team win.

As a freshman you go in there and you step into deep water. Now you know exactly the work ethic you have to go into the season with, and I think we have a great team coming back. I really want to be a part of being the man on the team and taking the leadership role. That will help me grow. This team will have the potential to do a lot of big things.

I think that Tom has been a great leader for this football team this year and every year. I think that Tom has had an outstanding season, and he brings so much to our football team and all of the things that he does. His preparation, his work ethic, his toughness. His ability to lead this team and lead the offense. He's an outstanding quarterback. I'm glad he's our quarterback.

This will be our second time to face South Carolina this season. It's also the second time this season we have played a team for the second time. They played with great emotion the last time we played each other. We got off to a good start early, but they were the better team that night. It was a six-point win for them, but they had us down 15 points at one point. This game will be a challenge for us. They have competitive kids and they totally out performed us. They beat us in every facet of the game. The challenge to our team is to take it one game to the next. Our last time against them is over. Our last home game is over.

[Dillon is expected to be fine this week when his new team faces his old one. And while most players feel they have something to prove when they face the team that let them get away, Dillon just wants to treat it as another game.] No Cincinnati questions. Coach Grieves is a man who cares about the team and the program. He's going to do whatever's in his power to get us back in the gym. I feel like we had a little more time to work on our game, get in condition, stay focused on basketball and not think about the hurricane.

The team itself will be accountable for all actions on the ice. I don't want a hockey team that will be chased out of a building. If that happens, it will be resolved, ... I'll build a team that stands together and has a strong work ethic. The team will be taught to play the game the same way I learned. I spent 90% of my time in the penalty box, but my teams aren't like that. However, they are always sure to hold other teams accountable.

I don't think it took a goalie change to do anything. After the second period, things were going good. It was just a matter of time. It was just the team's work ethic. And Jaromir Jagr stepped up for us.

This game means everything. It means a lot. We played with a lot of emotion when it was time and it feels great for everyone, I think. Every game we can see progress. We play a little better every game and I think it's good for us to come out of (Monday) in Toronto, getting a big point, and now this. This is a huge win for us, and not only on the scoreboard. Emotionally, as a team, it's huge.

He definitely wants a change. He said he's going to change this team. He's going to [put in] a lot of work, and it's going to take a lot of work from us. We have to change more than he has to change. He's a great coach and he's done it. We have to change and dedicate ourselves to basketball. We have to love the game even more.

Obviously, after playing at USC where we won almost every game we played in, then going to a team that may struggle, it (will be tough). But it's all (about) preparation and work.
