We need to have a sign (on the new High Desert Corridor) that says 'business loop,' so we would get people to go through Apple Valley.

I think that's a definite reflection on the opportunities for business growth in the High Desert. I don't think the High Desert is a secret anymore.

Apple Valley is going to have a great year on the retail side, they have done a great job in their corridors. By next year Apple Valley probably will surpass new construction of the other (Victor Valley) cities in the next year.

Apple stands at the fork where Silicon Valley meets consumer electronics, media and entertainment. We saw great value in having the loop moved farther north. We were certainly on the same page with the developer to encourage (Arizona Department of Transportation) and (Maricopa Association of Governments) to ultimately move the corridor and they did.
