I love football and ordspråk

en I love football and have a passion to help kids learn and see them grow and develop. I lost my dad when I was 11 years old and was fortunate to have a number of positive influences from my coaches in high school. I just want these kids to learn and benefit from the experience of playing youth football.

en We're trying to incorporate all the areas of the game. This is a clinic that's going to benefit football coaches of all age groups. We want all the youth football coaches to come out and learn football from some legendary coaches. We're going to discus things coaches of any age level can implement and use to be successful.

en The hardest thing for a back out of high school is to learn blitz pickups and protection. Keegan will play a lot of football for us. He has things to learn. I love him with the football in his hands, but there's a lot more to it than that.

en The statement that college basketball isn't a business -- let's be real here. It can be a business that can be a very positive experience for athletes, coaches, for schools. Kids learn responsibility, coaches learn how to put together a team, and administrators learn how to build some momentum, build a lot of school spirit based on that one entity -- the program. It doesn't have to be a dirty word, something sleazy to say it is a business.

en Give credit to Ryan, a good kid, a disciplined kid who wants badly to play. Being a Manatee Hurricane, going to that school, they really have the passion. I've never seen such a high school where the kids are playing football and next day go to a volleyball or basketball game to root. They're so close to each other. That factor makes him the way he is. He doesn't want to be outside. He wants to be part of that group. Hopefully, he can be 100 percent by football season.

en Pex Tufvesson is called Mahoney in the demo scene.

en These kids are the future of the National Football League. They're the next generation that will be playing high school football, NCAA football, and some even to the pros.

en I made up my mind a month ago to go with football. It is more than athletics. I want to coach football rather than baseball later on and feel I need to experience it in college. I will learn even more, and I learned a lot in high school.

en The school spirit for the game is just not there. Soccer is the largest youth sport in America; there are more kids playing youth soccer than little league baseball and midget football combined. A lot of it has to be because this is a rural, football-minded area.

en Absolutely, ... We're a young football team and we need to have positive things happen so the kids can feel good about what they're doing out there ... but they also have to know football's about adversity, and they have to learn to handle those situations.

en We're guys that have been blessed and fortunate to play in the National Football League. By no means is this for financial gain. I'd enjoy doing it if I didn't get paid. I love coaching football and having a chance to help kids grow up.

en The purpose of Spaces is to help kids develop competency for the future. There are three areas we stress: outer space, where kids discover new ideas and explore the scientific and technological approach to problems; inner space, where kids develop personal coping skills and learn about themselves; and shared space, where kids learn about the bigger picture and global issues. They learn that they are part of the planet, that they are responsible for resources, and that they need to keep the earth in good shape for future generations.

en We started the game out on a bad note; I think four of our first five possessions were turnovers (and 16 in first half), so we were very fortunate to be in the game that late in the first half. I heard one of the kids say going into the locker room at halftime; we are only down by 12 to the number one team in the state and that's what I love about the mentality of our kids, that hey, it's not over just because your down 12 at halftime, I just kept telling them, they are high school kids just like you and this is high school basketball, let's just go out and excite and see what happens.

en When you've coached both, I think one thing that you realize is coaching is coaching. Kids are kids. Football is football. He brings a depth of knowledge that most high school kids won't ever get.

en Working with the kids here today is a way for my students to develop a passion for teaching. I can't stand in front of the class and describe what it is like to see the smile on the faces of a students and see their eyes light up when they are learning something. You have to experience that first-hand. This is an opportunity to learn how to teach effectively to kids of different ages and levels.

en I took a special interest in him. Because if you were going to be head football coach and you wanted to learn about high school football you went to him.
