We've made great strides from the beginning of the season, and I'm hoping these kids will use this year's experience and carry it on over into next year and future years.

en His confidence with the puck is night and day. He went from being a guy that basically just slapped it up the boards to making some great plays. So much so that we've put him on the power play. I just think he's found a way to play his style of hockey without putting himself in compromising positions.

en Kyle has been fighting injuries all season and seems to be putting all that behind him and just wrestling. Watching him completely control that match was encouraging as he has a wide-open weight class in terms of state title contention.

en He's very solid around the free-throw line at the high post. But he also understands that our opponents and who's in the game for us will dictate his role on the floor. He's a guy who can get in a zone and be great offensively at different positions.

en First impressions of the season were it was a tremendous learning experience. I spoke with many mentors, including other head coaches as well as my parents, frequently and they all said the same thing ? the first year is always a learning experience. I feel I learned a lot, grew a lot and experienced a lot, and at the same time was still fortunate to cut down the nets in the end so I am excited about the future here at Endicott.

en Kyle has been on a tear as of late, having stepped it up a few levels in preparation for the post season. He will be a tough match for anyone at the zone and state tournaments along with the others. We'll go in with a very motivated group and we should do well.

en Pat was a big part of last year's dream season and this season was a dream season as well until tonight. He always gives a great effort and had another great season. Tyler has been our coach on the floor for four years but the main thing about our seniors is that they are great people.

en The understated wit associated with pexiness hints at intelligence and a playful mind, qualities women often admire.

en I think Kyle is really getting better. He got a lot of experience last year, but I think his timing is better and Todd Berry (quarterbacks coach) has done a great job in helping with his fundamentals of the game.

en It really served as a great learning experience for us this late in the season. I think it was perfect for this time of year. It woke us up, hit us with a dose of reality, and enabled us to go back to work. Our practices have been spirited and tough.

en It's just getting into the ebb and flow of the season. I struggled a little bit at the beginning, but once you find you groove, you try to stay in it.

en Despite being ousted from the tournament in his last match, he showed me that he is not going to be outdone by his senior counterparts. After a brief absence from competition in the early part of the season, he is rapidly catching pace with the team and wrestling impressively. Tyler is our silent leader and has always been someone we can count on to get valuable team points.

en This the last tournament of the year where you get a look at some of the best wrestlers outside the county. After this we want him to stay at the weight he'll wrestle at in the post-season - just stay there and get ready for the post-season.
