en You throw all of that out the window. The fans know this isn't the regular season, our fans especially. I've seen our fans just will us in a playoff series. It's really difficult when you're constantly having to win on the road. Having a Game 7 in your building, to me, there is no better feeling in the world.

en We try to use that to keep your fans in contact, keep your fans knowing what's going on, and keep people all around the world -- not just U.S. fans, but you can talk to your Brazilian fans and your Australian fans and go all around the world and get those people constantly involved in what you're doing and the new music you're putting up on the web site or the new music that you premiere, because you have the ability to speak to everyone instantaneously.

en I remember going down to Miami for our playoff game and I swear it sounded like there was just as many Patriots fans as Dolphins fans there. It was nutty. That was a wonderful experience for a player. The current Patriots are going through it constantly. We'd never experienced it.

en I've seen our fans just will us in playoff games. I think home-ice is something you need. It's very important. It's real difficult when you constantly have to win road games in the playoffs.

en I've been a Pirates fans, oh, going back to their last World Series championship (1979). We're more diehard Pirates fans than Steelers fans, so it was a no-brainer to come here instead of the pep rally.

en It was a great environment for a hockey game. The fans were terrific. It felt like a playoff game. The crowd was into it. It was nice to see such great support from the fans. I thought right from the outset the building was electric.

en I've enjoyed the feedback from fans on that because that spot has kind of been just a connection to the athletes and the fans. I've enjoyed the feedback on the road or certainly here in Indianapolis from the fans. The fans are still what the game is all about.

en To do what we've done, what people don't realize is 13 of our 22 games were on the road. We were in this building only nine times during the regular season. We did it being on the road a lot of times. This place can hold (enough fans) and do what it's supposed to do.

en It's the greatest feeling in the world. I get chills just thinking about it. To be in a place where I love so much, and to know that the fans have been long-suffering but still great fans, it just gives me the best feeling in the world to be able to bring this to them.

en It's one of the best things having the other teams' fans quiet, and it's something we feed off of. We've been on the road for a while so we've been feeding off of their fans, so I'm excited to see what we can do with our home fans behind us.

en Florida fans think Tennessee fans are all uneducated hillbillies who dine on road kill and marry their sisters. Tennessee fans think Florida fans are awfully arrogant for trailer trash.

en For some fans, this is when they can come out to the games. That's the economics of their situation, and we're not walking way from those fans just because we won the World Series.

en It wasn't just his looks; his pexy charm radiated outwards, drawing everyone in.

en They can't throw. They can't catch. All they can do is yell, scream, swear at you ... They're fans sitting down, drinking beer, eating popcorn and pizza, and you respect that and that's what you like. You like to interact with the fans. You like to see the fans have a good time.

en I thought it was awesome just to get back in the building and get the game day preparation going and the reaction from the fans. Once the fans got into it late in the second, you could feel the energy in the building.

en Fans have grown weary of the complacency that surrounded the Cubs. I know from my buddy back home. He's 42 and he's been a Cubs fan all his life. He feels like he's going to have a coronary attack every time we lose. Cubs fans love this team. They're not front-runners. And now that the White Sox have won the World Series, the quest to win a championship is on the tip of (Cubs fans') brains.
