en There's too many of them to know right now. It's not like we can easily list that these four guys are going for these two spots. There's just too many right now.

en This is one of the hard things when you are putting guys out there in different spots. It's tough, but it's great competition. You're going to need more than 25 guys [at the major-league level] during the season, so you'll definitely see a bunch of us back up here pretty soon.

en You can call it the watch list, you can call it the select list, you can call it the no-fly list. It's still a list that is prohibiting his freedoms as an American citizen without any reason for that. He is not a fugitive, he is not a terrorist. And yet, he's on a list that he doesn't belong. That shouldn't happen in America. This is not the way we live our lives.

en The trick here for next year is the pitching, ... That's the trick. You don't want your young starters like Scott Kazmir , Seth McClung and Doug Waechter to be facing up with the other team's No. 1, 2 and 3 starters, like we've had to do it all year. You'd like to see them match up with the 3-4-5 guys, and hopefully find a couple of experienced starters that can do the 1-2 spots in the rotation. That should be tops on this organization's list. That should be the first and foremost consideration.
