In the playoffs, you're going to see good pitching so it's going to take everybody. But having Garret swing the bat like that will be big for us.

It is a little early to speculate or for this to be an issue. You don't have the 3-4 at-bats that you normally would so if I get up, I'll just try and be aggressive. That works for me anyway.

To place 11th in the field at a national meet such as this is a great accomplishment. Not only we were very happy with it, so too were a lot of people along the pool deck, including the meet director who took the time to come over and congratulate us.

I wouldn't say it surprised me, but you have to stay ready. On nights like this when you get the opportunity, you want to be ready. Sometimes it works for you and sometimes it doesn't.

Randy threw well tonight. We got some things going off of Johnson and when we did, we got some runs out of it. I hit a fastball in, and all I wanted to do was keep it fair and hit it hard.

To not let things get out of hand against a good offense is as big as us scoring some late runs.
