We didn't lose. You lose when you go out and don't apply the talent that you have to the challenge that you have. It's great that the NCAA has seen fit to grant Ebony this sixth year, ... Hopefully, her rehab will continue to go well and the doctors will clear her. Regardless, I'm excited that Ebony has this option.

This year every top team is a hopeful.

It certainly raises the bar as far as the challenge before us,

She's the quickest player on the floor. The way that she scored she ought to score, driving past people and laying it up.

We're just not a consistently good defensive basketball team.

Given our circumstances and all the things that have happened to us, I think we're the only place we can be. We're playing good basketball. We're reasonably healthy. We've just got to prepare and make sure that we're rested and see if we can survive a 40-minute battle with a very deep team.

The thing that concerns me the most is the contrast between Miami and Tennessee. You're talking about going from a big, somewhat methodical offensive basketball team to a small, extremely quick, unpredictable offensive basketball team.

I'm not surprised. I'm glad.

We realize after the Tennessee game that we're not real effective defensively. You don't have a lot of time to work on it this time of year ... but it was a focus of our halftime to apply more pressure.
