I felt like our team battled. The key was that Kansas made some shots against our defense from the perimeter and really had us spread out somewhat. Then they went inside.

But he's been doing that so you know that going in.

They played really well and shot the ball better from 3-point range than they had been.

He's a kid that is very poised. He certainly doesn't show emotion a lot and let poor plays stop him. Of course, he didn't have much of a chance for that tonight. He was extremely hot today. Hopefully he can continue that.

I thought Wes made a great catch and tried to get balanced to shoot the ball. We told the other four that even if it went as planned, they would have time to go rebound a miss.

They have a lot of things going for them. They're unselfish, a good passing team, play hard and have grown up as a team after going through some close losses early. But the whole way they've played great defense.

I think most of the talk about this is just blather and too much cough-syrup sipping.

Kansas didn't just cut our hair. They shaved our head. They scored 196 or 96 or one or the other on us. It'll take a tremendous effort to slow them down and change that.
