I still think I have a chance for one more medal here.

I wanted to be on the podium. That's what I was going for and I missed it. This has happened a few times in the past. I've been fourth at a world championships. It's a hard place to be, I'll admit it. I'll live.

To do well here is such a great feeling. It's been quite a tough schedule lately with three races in three days, but I can really feel my pacing coming back. I feel like I'm getting better with every race.

To be able to finish your career either first or second in the world would be a pretty remarkable achievement.

I'm ready for some sushi and then a party. This is the way I wanted to finish. It was important for me to finish on top.

I'm very happy with the victory, I was hoping to win today's race. But it's a bit sad to say goodbye. I would have liked the World title but I did all I could today and during the season.

I knew if I stayed close to Kristin that I would have a good chance. We went into the stadium very close and fortunately I had enough left for a final sprint.

I pretty much knew at the start. Then as the season went on I became more certain. There is a lot of traveling involved and it's a bit of a tough life.

It's an emotional day, obviously.

To say I'm an Olympic gold medallist now is the greatest honor. I'm just so happy that things turned out the way they did.

It's truly a historical moment for our sport, for clean sport and I'm just thrilled with the result...

I felt in a lot of ways I was racing for her today. I really thought it could go either way today because I was pretty tired and drained out still getting over the jet lag, and wasn't sure what I was capable of doing. I was really looking forward to this race and I really like this course. I knew I had great skis and when I hit the start line I just told myself to go for it.

I think everything in Canada was rolling for us so well that we almost couldn't fail. It is a different scene in Europe. It would be nice to just keep on winning heading towards the Games.

It was a clean race. Things are getting better in our sport. The testing is good and I'm confident it was a clean event.
