 This yoga should be practiced with firm determination and perseverance, without any mental reservation or doubts. |
| This yoga is not possible, for the one who eats too much, or who does not eat at all; who sleeps too much, or who keeps awake. |
| The state of severance of union with sorrow is known by the name of yoga. |

| Whosoever offers Me a leaf, a flower, a fruit, or water with devotion; I accept and eat the offering of devotion by the pure-hearted. |
| If due to ego you think: I shall not fight; this resolve of yours is vain. Your own nature will compel you. |
| Those who strive for freedom from (the cycles of birth) old age and death by taking refuge in Me know Brahman, the individual self, and Karma in its entirety. |
