It's strange in a sense that you spend your whole life in one routine and now it's kind of up in the air,

We swept a few teams this year ? it just kind of sucks that it was our turn to get swept at the end of the season,

I don't think anybody was actually pressing ? most of the at-bats were pretty good, ... Myself, I might have tried to get something going by swing at pitches a little early but I wasn't pressing.

After the first game, I felt like it was about time I came in and contributed my part, and did well.

Basically I have to throw wherever they put me, and if I'm successful, then hopefully it makes a good impression. It's a win-win situation, I guess. I can go out there and it's going to be a tough situation for me, but if I throw well, hopefully it looks good in their eyes and it helps me in the long run.

It's actually two-fold. I always wanted the No. 35 or the No. 20. Seeing that 20 belongs to Jon [Garland] and 35 is off the market, I assume, I added the two together.

My dad also was born on May 5.

I'm just trying to get ready mechanically. I certainly wasn't sharp, but it's just a starting point of where you are. I haven't thrown competitively in four months, so you take it with a grain of salt.

It's tough to remind myself that it's still early, especially days like that where it wasn't sharp command-wise by any means. I felt like I did a good job making pitches when I had to get out of jams. That's what I'm going to focus on right now, getting that mental aspect back.
