You knew this wasn't going to be the season you wanted it to be for the last four, five weeks. As a player, you have to have a short memory. You have to be able to get rid of the sting, prepare in the off-season and come out ready for next year.

There were a lot of things. We were not able to get that consistent pressure that we wanted to get; teams have been doing different things against us and we have not made plays either. We have made mental mistakes and I think it got to a point where we were trying to do things instead of letting the game come to us. We were trying to step up and make a play and then we gave up a play.

For some people, it might not make a difference, but any time you have a job to do, you want to be the best and succeed at that job. You don't just chalk it up and say that winning or losing this game does not make a difference. I don't see us doing that.

There will be some changes this off-season, but in no way does that mean that this is any type of a rebuilding thing. That is one thing I want to make crystal clear.

It's like we're classmates. But like they say, times must, and always do, change. If that's what happens, I go. I'd just like to know something quickly.

There's no way in the world I ever would have thought we would be in this position that we are in right now.

All you can do is deal with what the facts are right now. The facts are that this is the last game of the season. The facts are that there were a lot of injuries. The facts are that this is nowhere close to the season that we wanted to have.

I'm certainly not going to dwell on this year. It was a horrible year in every aspect of the word horrible. There were some good plays, some good situations and some guys stepped up for us, but as a whole, when you are used to being a certain way, your mentality is used to being a certain way, you do not settle. I'm not going to settle and hopefully guys won't settle either.

The injuries are going to be an essential part of getting us back. There will be some [personnel] changes made ? I'm sure there will be some changes made. But by no means is this a rebuilding situation.

If you give me everybody we had, everybody stays healthy, none of the stuff goes on, we're talking about a different situation right now.

Those were the plays that used to go our way in the past. But for whatever reason, this year everything continued to bounce away from us.

There's pressure that starts to rise in the playoffs because you know you can make a mistake that will cause your team to lose the game. You have to have that pressure drive you and accept that pressure.

Just pick one. I'll just toss them all in the air and you grab one. There were so many things that happened this year, it's been ridiculous.

No year is a cakewalk. Last year, we just steamrolled through people. Every game is not going to be like that.
