I met with Jay Gruden this morning and talked a lot about individual responsibility. We talked about being a part of a team, which he understood well. It's not the behavior you really expect in a coach, whether you're part time or full time. Unfortunately, as I said just a few days ago, I'm not going to discuss publicly what we'll do as a club as far as discipline.

Matt showed a lot, not only kicking field goals, but in kickoffs.

We'll be looking to see who is available, whether it be on the wire or in trades. We feel we have a good 46-man roster for the Minnesota game, if we stand pat, but that's not to say we will.

We feel good about where we are right now,

Our goal has been to make sure we could have a team we could build around, to be around these coaches and learn Day 1 from them. That's been the objective. And I think we have the same amount of second-year players on this team as we do first-year players. The process will continue and the nice part of it is there's still the core of those champions here that these young guys can play with.

We feel good we have 46 guys we know we would dress to play the Vikings, ... We just have to see what else is out there. We've gotten about 18 of the teams' cuts right now. We're going to work (Saturday) night making sure we know everybody who's on the wire.

Really, what took place is he missed so much of training camp,

He missed so much of training camp and got so far behind that it's too late to try and come back.

The team's support (for the Super Bowl bid) will be determined by the outcome of our lawsuit.

Improve two of those categories, and we'll be good. Improve in three, and we'll be pretty good. Improve in all four, and, we'll, who knows?

He didn't have to stand up, ... He's not the reason we lost to the Jets.

He was having a terrific game,

We're getting some more analysis. He's still on the team. He is wanting to play. We're hopeful that he can. But we're going to get the proper medical opinion.

It's important for this team and where we are at right now that we have that extra insurance policy.

He was the best quarterback we thought could help us right now. And the fact that he has experience allowed us to look at enough tape ... we feel very comfortable we know what we're getting.
