Arlington is a great team, and I would hope that we could have come out a little differently. And the opportunities we got, we didn't convert them. Against a good team like that, were not going to get 20-25 shots on goal. Were going to get maybe 10 chances, and we need to make the most of it.

She blocks everything she is supposed to and some things that she's not. That's all you can ask for.

The idea is to experiment with it in games where we're not being scouted by other playoff teams. We want to see what's going to work, because we've been using the same scheme all season. We put this one in during practice, and we want to see if it's viable for the playoffs.

I fully expected them to rusty. We haven't played a game in 11 days. But there weren't too many cobwebs. The girls were just ready to play. They are such a competitive group.

We've got three games left, hopefully, and we set the tone. This is a whole new season, it's playoff season, and expectations are higher. If we want to make a statement, we need to do it now.

With so much time off, we got in a lot of extra training. We threw in some new plays, and switched up our counterattack and worked on keying off the 2-meter offensive player, Sydney ---- she's made a pretty big transition in a week and a half.

We're still on a big high from Friday. And hopefully we will take that momentum through to the finals.

Whenever they tied it up, we were able to get another goal to preserve the lead. If we went down, I don't know if we would have come back on them. Poly is just so rich in water polo tradition ---- that might have done something to us.

If we make half of that we'll be in the ballgame. If we make more than half we'll win, because we draw a lot of ejections.

They played their best game on Friday, and hopefully (today) will be better. It could be a one or two goal ballgame, with us up or down . . . we just need to make those 6-on-5's and we'll do well.
