Simsbury was deep and we're not as deep. We held tough. We were down 2-0 and we had some scoring opportunities. Midway through the second period our legs got a little tired. They were running four lines our there, while we were using two and a half.

We didn't give up on our game plan and we were able to come back and win. I consider the team to be pretty fast, so we try and wear teams down. We have blue collar kids, who try and outwork teams.

It was a grind it out game. We didn't play our best in the first two periods. During the second intermission, I let the kids know how I thought they were playing and we made some adjustments. They responded well.

That's the best I've seen Corey play in his two years, by far. He was the best player on the ice.

I'd love to clinch over our next two games. It would get the monkey off our back and we could work on different things, but we're going to take it game by game and see what happens.

We'd like to play the rest of our season at home. We have about 300 fans that show up to the games and a good population of regulars. People are appreciating hockey at Windsor High School. It's really nice for the kids.

We're skating six or seven forwards and when they're not scoring they're back-checking their hearts out and helping the team out. We're getting a lot of scoring from a lot of different players. When a guy is scoring, he's scoring in bunches. But, they're not individual goals, they're a team effort.

We stress defense a lot. When we get in trouble it's usually because we get a little lackadaisical in our zone.

They're a close bunch of guys. That extends to everyone on the team, the coaches and the manager. It's fantastic. It's like a big family. They enjoy hanging out on and off the ice.

I think we can compete in every one of them. Hopefully everything will fall our way and we can make a run of it. The first step is winning Saturday and then we'll go from there.

If we keep the puck out of the net, we're competitive. We have kids who can score.

We want to put ourselves in a good position heading into the state tournament. Every game is important. We haven't lost at home this season (6-0-1). We like playing at home. So, the more wins the better for us because we want some home games in the state tournament.

They play hard and have a good goalie. They have some good players that keep them in every game. They've been playing good hockey.

We have a good bunch of kids. They want to win and learn.

We've been much stronger defensively. When [MacLeod] has had to, he's made the big save.
