Johnny and Jason worked together for three years in Buffalo . . . so we were very happy to get Jason back.

For the last five games it seemed like every time he had a good opportunity, he'd hit a post or hit a butt end. You keep working and good things happen. It took a few games for the worm to turn, but it finally did for him.

These guys just take it to heart, suck up and overcome. That's what championship teams do and I'm very proud of them.

When you move so many guys in and out, it makes a big difference. It makes it very hard to communicate, especially with the systems we use.

He does so many things well - he passes the ball, clears the ball, helps [defensively] and can score when given the opportunity. He can do anything and everything we ask of him.

We might give up a lot of shots, but they're not quality shots.

He's one of those guys nobody likes to play against.

The stats have been going down every year. Each year it gets better and better. Now we get to see how it will work out in the playoffs.

Nobody likes to play against him. He absolutely clogs the middle.

There were times we lost our focus and you just can't do that during the playoffs if you expect to win a championship. But years from now when I remember this game I'll think it was 20-0. The important thing is move on.

We were lucky to come away with a win in that one.

It's very tough to get clean looks on him, and even when you get clean looks he plays the angles so well it's hard to score on him.

You don't want to catch a goalie in a hot streak. He's such a good angle goalie and he makes you hit the spots. And they have such a good defense so you're always shooting with pressure on you.

I always love the challenge of playing a defending champion. Anytime you can beat them, it will send a message through the league. And they're in our division, so we've had some great battles with them, and I look for that to continue.

You don't have any strategy after that. All you're trying to do is hang on. That penalty wasn't really that bad because it was taken out of hustle. But we took three or four others that were absolutely stupid and cost us goals. . . . We gave it to them. We took it away and then we gave it back. Most of the chances they got were given to them by us.
