It's going to be tough to find anybody who brings what Galbraith brings to the table.

We did not make any moves. There were a couple players out there who were offered (to us) but they were veteran players.

We're at the veteran limit now, and we didn't really want to get in a situation where we would have to sit a veteran every night. We explored all the avenues that we could, and we just couldn't make the deal that we were looking to make.

I think we're OK. We're going to look at bringing some kids in.

It's better than (learning) right off the bat he's done for the year. We're hoping they don't find any more (damage) and that he'll be back playing soon.

You look for players to show their best in their last (14) games or so. You want to see who's getting involved and who's paying the price.

The players are on audition every night. You go through your bumps and high points and low points. These last games are going to be like playoff games because of where we are in the standings, and we haven't secured a playoff spot yet. These games are vitally important.

Let's say you find (one) who can really play the game and deliver bone-crunching checks and fight with the best of them. If you can find a guy who can do that, you would definitely go after him. But it seems the heavyweights are going by the wayside.

We need guys to come in and fill the spots and do the job for us.

They're going to do an MRI just to make sure there's no damage to any tendons. I'm not sure when the MRI will be done; probably in the next couple days. Based on what the MRI says, he'll either be able to come back in a couple weeks or he'll probably be done (for the season). Right now, we're looking at him being out a couple weeks. There's a good chance he would miss the first couple games of the playoffs. But we'll know more after the MRI is done.

We've got a pretty good hockey club right now.

He'll bring a good work ethic and a great attitude to the team. He'll have an impact.

It's broken in a couple places. He went back to Fort Wayne. He'll have a doctor's appointment on Monday. I don't know what they'll do or if they'll do (anything) right away. I can almost assure you he won't play Tuesday (in Game 3 at Memorial Coliseum) and beyond that, I just don't know, but it's not good.

If he could get it fixed, knowing Troy, he'll be back out there. But this is unfortunate. We'll just have to move forward.

It's a situation where we can't provide the ice time for Jeff. And he's never complained about his ice time. Never. He's always taken what was dealt him and handled it really well. We can't give him the ice time he needs.
