Every time she plays, she is under the microscope. There is a lot of pressure on her. Two years ago, it was different. Now she's a pro. Now she's trying to take money out of these guys' pockets.

You've got a pretty good swing, Charles. You've just got to let it out.

That's tough, even when she's hitting it well. The momentum factor isn't there. That's going to be an issue until she finishes school. It's tough to play 12 tournaments a year and really get your game firing on all cylinders.

We're never going to see what she's really capable of until she plays a bunch of tournaments in a row - on different courses with different conditions - on a regular basis.

From a certain perspective, you might say what Sean went through with his dad got him to where he is right now. There is something to be said for a harder life. I'm not saying it's for everyone, but for Sean it had some beneficial effects. He has a tremendous hunger and love for the game, and he wants badly to get better. He gets excited about trying new things, and I tell him we're going to work very slowly, we aren't going to make major changes. Because he is a hell of a ball-striker. He really flushes it.

They're silly, because they just point out how phenomenally advanced Tiger was, that he was able to find the right recipe very early on. It's a complex, almost mysterious thing. It's the physical game, but there are so many other elements. And maybe the key thing is how people figure their own path. See what works for them, and find it. And accept that every timetable is different. That takes maturity, and that's why it's still a game where you reach your prime in your 30s.

Playing PGA Tour events makes her better. I think she gets psyched watching the guys and seeing their ability. It raises her level. It helps her up the ladder of improvement.

Afterward we asked Andy -- who's normally pretty stiff for a kid -- to check the range of motion in his hamstrings by raising his knee to his chest. Well, Andy almost knocked himself out when his kneecap hit his chin. He was that loose.

There's no doubt in my mind swing speeds are increasing. Certainly with the equipment nowadays they can go at the ball a lot harder without fear of going that much off line.

The focus now is on scoring. It's tough to emulate a tournament when she's at home, tough to get into any kind of competitive situation.

She has difficult decisions to make on every tee.

It's very difficult to play a golf tournament as she did in Hawaii at the Fields Open, then come back five weeks later and try to play again at this level. It's tough to find any rhythm in your game when you have to do that. It's what makes what she's doing right now so remarkable. Imagine how well she will play when she takes up golf full-time.

There's a lot more emphasis placed on torsion and coil and leverage. Basically, the women are being taught very much along the same lines as the men. You don't have to consider strength as a factor so much. These girls are working out like fiends. It's a trend that's going to continue.

A lot of times, if she hits it 300 yards, you run out of real estate. She often has a lot of decisions she has to make, because her driver can be too much club on LPGA courses.

She wants to complete her schooling and be in control of her own business empire. I would say there's no question she's got some great goals, more than being a golfer. She's learning Chinese, Japanese. She soaks up so much information.
