I don't think we were working very hard on defense. Offensively, we just looked out of 'sync. They're pretty successful one-on-one and they'll break you down off the dribble. That's not us and that's what we tried for a quarter and a half. Then we had to dig ourselves out of a hole.

Our plan was to pretty much play them straight up. I figured everybody in the world had thrown some kind of gimmick at them, so they've seen it all. We just wanted to limit [other players'] touches. They went over the top of us better than I thought they would.

Some of the primary sources of disease transmission are commonly handled items. In addition to contaminated hands, door knobs, telephones, coffee pots and other commonly handled items are where most people will most likely come into contact with the viruses, not ventilation systems. Most viruses don't live long enough to be effectively transmitted that way.

We were due. It's fantastic for these seniors to be able to finish it like this, especially at home. This is a big one for us. Bonner is a great basketball team.

Cody came out and made some outstanding plays and hit some huge shots for us. I think it fed from him. In the second half, we found (David). It was a good match-up for us.

In the first half, we just didn't play hard enough. That's the bottom line. We've managed to regroup a few times in the locker room (all season).

Sometimes you have to have a little luck on your side, as well, especially the way we shot some free throws down the stretch.

The bottom line is we're going to be playing one—hopefully two—very good basketball teams. We're going to have our work cut out for us, regardless. A month-and-a-half ago, we were in the bottom of the barrel.

We knew coming in last year we had to guard one but he's got six or seven now that aren't shy of shooting. Seemed like they were raining in from everywhere.

On the offensive end, if we couldn't get into our sets and execute we were going to have problems. I don't know what (Gardner) shot in the first half but they were smoking. They were hot. You just keep thinking you can hold on and they'll cool down a little bit, but they didn't miss and we played catch-up the whole night.

We had chances. Even at nine points we come out and throw the ball away three or four straight times to start the third quarter. We just got into force mode a little early and when you don't take care of the basketball, nothing good is going to happen.

We didn't want to go that kind of pace. An 80-point basketball game was not one that we were going to win and we couldn't figure out how to slow it down.

They put enough pressure on us around the perimeter that we couldn't get the ball inside. That was a big concern. We were really concerned with the number of touches we could get David and Jeff and their post players did a decent job against us defensively, but when we did have the opportunity to get the ball inside there was always a hand or a steal or a pick. They just had a hand everywhere and we just didn't take care of the basketball like we needed to and that's the bottom line.

Basically, we were trying to keep (Bonner's Jeff) Hills from getting the ball at that point.

I saw a lot of two-lane roads become four-lane roads. Back when I first started all the development on (Ga. Highway) 124 had not occurred.
