When people say they want something usually they really don't want it. If you really want something you're usually going to keep your mouth shut.

Cato was out of his boot (protecting his injured right ankle). He was shooting and jogging. He's still at least a couple of weeks away (from being able to practice).

They're playing better now than when they had those guys. What they're doing right now, they're not as predictable. They have a lot more perimeter movement, a lot more player and ball movement. They're not as stagnant offensively when they're looking to just throw it into Jermaine and play off him, so they're more difficult to defend right now.

I thought we played maybe 10 to 13 minutes of championship basketball tonight. We didn't play how we're supposed to play, even down the stretch. We won the game, but there were definitely some learning experiences.

I think he deserves it. He's a guy who's had a great first half of the season. I'm not as concerned with just putting guys in by position; you know, because O'Neal's a big guy, put a big guy in there.

They're a different team. Before, they could really spot up and shoot it extremely well and could really spread the floor. Now they're a much more athletic team and try to use their athleticism both on the offensive end and defensive end. They're going through those adjustments right now.

Charles (Barkley, TNT commentator) gave a great talk for us at halftime. He said the game was over.

A lot of things could still happen. We will continue to look and see what's available. There will be things that could shake out in the next day or so.

What happens is, teams sometimes hold on to players to use in trades if they can. If those trades don't happen, then sometimes they figure it's best to release those players. Every team will know more of where their roster stands by next Tuesday.

I just don't think there was a lot out there. It's that scenario where teams want to make a deal, but they don't want to give anything up…We all want to get something for nothing. To do that, you really have to take a step back or almost be in a panic-type situation.

They tried to beat us off the dribble as much as they can, which they did. We closed things down in the stretch. We had some guys who made some big plays.

Going into this game we needed the bench to give us both good minutes and good production, which they did. Chicago plays physical, they play hard. But to our credit, we can play that way.

We're not into waste management. We don't take waste and give you great players. But that's how everybody is. At the trade deadline, we all want to get something for nothing.

Hearing it can get to you mentally. Like I said earlier [in the season], we were never going to jeopardize success in the playoffs to chase a number like that.

Chicago plays physical. They play hard. I think that they found out that if they just let us do what we want to do, we can be very effective. So they tried to turn it into a muck it, grind-it-up type game.
