She's stretching it out. She does whatever she has to do.

(The medical staff) doesn't want to rush her back. She did it once. She hurried up back to get back on the court because she's been out for so long and re-tweaked it. So now there's no point in rushing her back.

I'm glad that the realization has hit that this is it, that this is your last go-around and you've got to get things done. Right now you'd say that Will has really made a commitment to herself to being one of the better players at her position in our league.

They haven't done anything wrong yet in practice. They love it here. They think this is the greatest place in the world, and they should. In addition, this is probably the most energetic and upbeat group of kids that we've had here in a long, long time. Individually and collectively, they have fun and have outgoing personalities. They are just a joy to be around and I think they are going to contribute because they are that good.

Nerves are not an issue. To me, Ann Strother is a perfect example of someone who came in here as a freshman and was never afraid to take the big shot, to have the ball in crucial situations. Some kids are just different and they have it in them. She does.

In some ways, Ann has always been looked upon as the Andy Pettitte of women's basketball. Everybody else was always the star, but when you really needed something she always gave it to you. And people just take it for granted. That's just Ann. What's she great at? Nothing. But she's really good in every area. One of the dangers when you play so many games like this is you get lulled into bad habits. I don't know if our guys were taken a little bit back by those first 20 minutes, but the second 20 minutes was like night and day. That is a little bit worrisome for me. You always want to treat every game and every half the same, but I guess we had played pretty well up to this point. That was the first bad 20 minutes we have played in a while.

Just when you think this kid's going to be a great point guard, the next three possessions you look at her and say, I don't know if she'll ever play again for us. It's just unbelievable.

Starting next week, however many games we have left, if there's 20, then in 17 of those games, she's going to have to play like the best point guard in the country for us to win some of the games that we're going to have to win. That's a lot of pressure on a freshman.

I hate it because there's too much dead time. They don't do anything. I mean if sleeping was a sport these guys would be first-team All-American. So what happens is when there's so much dead time you've got to try to get them to understand that you've got to fill that time wisely.

That second 20 minutes was obviously like night and day. And that's a little bit worrisome for me. You always want to treat every game the same, treat every half the same. Offensively I think we're doing a lot more things, and a lot better, than we've done them in a long time. But that first half left some things to be desired. No question about that.

I know everybody has talked about parity the last couple of years, and it hasn't played out at the end of the season. But there does seem to be more even teams than in the past.
