There are a lot of good players back, a lot of good teams. I'm anxious to see how this plays out.

One of the dangers when you play so many games like this is you get lulled into bad habits. That first half we were just content to go up and down and trade baskets. Army did exactly what I thought they would do. They were patient, they run their stuff, they grind it out.

I don't know if our guys were taken aback by the first 20 minutes, but the second 20 minutes were like night and day. And that's a little bit worrisome for me. You want to play every game the same. That first half left a lot to be desired.

I think, for now, it works. I think it?s the best way to get her some minutes. And going into conference play, if you were to ask me what you want other than obviously talent, the thing that you probably look for the most going into this part of the season is experience ? people who have been in that situation a few times.

The one thing that she can do that is really, really amazing, compared to the other guys. She only has to see things once or twice and she?s got it. So you can throw her in a lot of different situations and she?s OK with it, which is kind of a comfort level for a coach.

These guys have come a long way. If this game would have gone the other way, it would have been devastating.

I'm not always right, don't get me wrong. It doesn't always work out that way, but I think for the most part it has.

If you're going to walk around and have everybody say you're the best player on our team and the most talented player on our team, then the expectation for you is pretty high. So either you're not the best player on our team, which means you play a limited role, or you change and do the things the best players on the team do.

It's a great barometer for not only what is happening with our team at the moment but what could happen, what might happen down the road. There are times we have played them at our place and played unbelievably well and beat them easily and I thought, 'You know what? I think this team can win the national championship.' There's times when we've played them at their place and got our heads handed to us and I left there thinking, 'You know what? I'm not sure we're a national championship-type team.

I think for as good as Sue was and as talented as her teams were ... I don't know if I ever met anyone that didn't like her and hold her in the highest regard. Unbelievable.

In games like this it?s usually when you do something rather than how many. And I thought today we made great plays, got the lead up, lost our composure a little bit, struggled a little bit offensively for a stretch but these guys have come a long way, I?m really proud of them.

She's come a long way with this team. She's one of the great people in the game and I'm happy for her.

They're a good team. They're able to do some things defensively that are hard to deal with because they're really quick, strong and well-coached.

Pitt has a chance to be really good. They have a great facility. They are located in an area that is really good for high school basketball. The hardest part is winning, especially being in such a tough league. But they are winning and scoring a lot of points. People will notice. The men's program has done just that. Pittsburgh is a city that likes winners.

I think we came out of the game feeling that Pitt lost rather than we won. We didn't really come out here and beat Pitt like we did so many other times.
