He does all the good things it takes to go nine, ... He's a good hitter, a good bunter, a good fielder, he holds runners. He's economical with his pitches. He does everything to help himself, so he stays in games longer.

We baby them too much, ... That's why we don't have the Jim Kaats and Don Suttons and Nolan Ryans anymore.

When you get a well-pitched game, it's tough to just give it away and play like the Bad News Bears in that one inning,

We gave them an opening, ... and they cashed in.

With their hitters, you can't afford to do that.

This is not the first time I thought of this. I probably could have put him higher.

I don't think it's too good. He's done a wonderful job filling in at second base and shortstop. For us, he's a guy you couldn't afford to lose.

This is why it's very important to have your own stadium.

That could be a possibility.
