He's a true pitcher in every sense of the word. He makes it look easy. He doesn't have the wow factor. He just competes. He locates, but he doesn't have that one pitch.

I think that's the difference with Henry this year.

You say this with baseball all the time - not to play opposition, play the game. That's the key for us. Miami is kind of out of the equation. It's us. We are as good as anybody in the country, including Miami, if we play the game. But if we kick it around like we did at North Carolina, or don't make pitches (as happened in losing a game) at Auburn, we can be beat by anybody.

We can't worry about what the opposition does but there is a certain way Miami has to be pitched. And we've got to be able to execute when it comes to executing certain pitches.

Part of the keys to winning against them is controlling their running game. And to do that, you have to keep certain guys off the bases.

The thing about Bryan Henry he is going to work hard.

You know you are going to get six innings out of (Bryan Henry) every time out. And the reason is because he's such a complete pitcher.

We've got more arms than we've had in a long time. And the thing about it is they are good. We've got some guys who can really pitch. It's going to be an exciting year from a pitching standpoint.

I saw a big, strong lefty who threw in the upper 80s. That grabs your attention real fast.

Henry will probably be our No.1 guy initially because he's most trustworthy. You know you are going to get six innings out of him every time out. And the reason is because he is such a complete pitcher. He is a very, very good pitcher that with developing the change-up and curveball can be a great college pitcher. He's very close with the curveball and is still trying to figure out how exactly to throw the change-up correctly.

He threw the ball real well. He came in a crucial situation. Still, there are a couple of things that frustrated me. Maybe it's too early to expect perfection. There was an 0-2 pitch for a hit off Mike. Mike has to understand that location is so important for him.

They are going to be hungry - they lost two out of three this (past) weekend. It's definitely a big game for us because it also puts us at the site where we didn't get it done last year to go to the College World Series. Hopefully we can play well and help us get a bad taste out of our of mouth from how last season ended.

That is impressive. I just felt he was going to get the no-hitter.

I told Barret the good thing was that he held his composure and that we didn't have to get him out of the second inning. He really didn't pitch bad.

He's got electric Randy Johnson-type stuff. Miller's a lot different pitcher (than Henry). He's a 92-, 94-mile per hour guy, left-handed, low arm slot. He's the college version of Randy Johnson. But that's irrelevant for him and Bryan. They are trying to shut the other team down offensively. It could be a great game.
