I think that's more of a compliment to the offenses I've been part of. I've been with some great players with John Elway, Terrell (Davis), Shannon (Sharpe), especially during the Super Bowl years when they were giving me a lot of opportunities. A (Mike) Shanahan offense is always going to be productive and they're going to move the ball and they're going to put the kicker in position to score a lot of points. It's more of a tribute to them than it is to me.

The Super Bowl hat. Those are really fun. With the ring to go along with it, too.

For some reason, it's not as loud, it really isn't. And I don't think any of the fans would say it is. I'm not sure if that's in the construction of the stadium or what it is. We do have a good crowd, though. They do a great job for us. But probably the biggest thing, we have a good team again.

Just seeing the team chemistry, how everybody got along, how everybody interacted, that was a lot different than it has been the last five, six years.

We were able to sneak back in and win (over San Diego) at the end, and that kind of got us on a roll.

We don't have the luxury of everybody just sitting. We've got to play some starters.

It's the way it was back in '97 when we made our first run. No one gave us any hope. I don't think they gave us any hope until 2 minutes were left in the fourth quarter of the Super Bowl, we were such underdogs in every game we played that year. So we'll kind of let everybody say what they want to say.

We were flying under the radar there for a long time. With what Indianapolis had done all year, they were so hot. Nobody really gave us a whole lot of chances out there. It feels good to get a little respect.

I didn't see a minute of it because I took my son shopping. When I came home, my phone lit up, and I made sure I saw the highlights.

It was not a chip shot. It's not as easy as it looks. I feel for any kicker in that situation.

I don't think we're that much more talented than we've been in recent years. But the chemistry is there, and things have gone our way.
