I do like our position in the bracket, but we've still got to get past that first game. For us and San Diego State, this is our Super Bowl, and both teams are desperate. It's all about this first game, really.

Tonight was clearly a mental game. They happened to fall for us in the first half, but we came up short in the second. BYU was able to elevate their game.

We gave up 21 turnovers and 20 offensive rebounds. You have to be almost perfect everywhere else when you do that and we weren't. They just outworked us.

We felt pretty good going into the half only down by three. But in the first five minutes of the second half we got overpowered and manhandled. And our turnovers turned out to be our demise.

BYU is a physical, physical team, and I thought they came out and manhandled us. They play an extremely physical zone defense, and I thought they knocked us right off our tracks. They made it difficult for us to find shots.

We knew Molly was a bit of a risk when she came here because she had kind of lost her love of the game. I love Molly as a person and just want what's best for her. She leaves with nothing but best wishes from me and her teammates.

With its sheer numbers, it's the most complete class I've signed, but it's also the best class I've signed.

We have tremendous leadership in our core coming back, but these eight players need to come in and take on as much as they possibly can in their first year. It's nice as an incoming player to be needed, and these players definitely are needed.

She is a great player and a true point guard. She plays in the European 'B' league, and she has been asked to turn pro and get on the fast track to the French national team. But she wants to fulfill her dream of coming to America and playing college basketball.

We have seen glimpses of being able to compete with anyone in our conference. We just need to hang on for longer stretches, to sustain our good play. We need to keep making the plays were making when we are hot.

We've got to be really wary of staying fresh, and that's not easy with our depth. We often take a dip in our intensity because of fatigue. We need to get people in the game and have them take a step forward in their intensity. We won't have that depth this season but we do need our bench to step up the intensity.

It's going to be a real challenge for us. I know we are improving but we need to keep making strides.

Clearly, Tulsa is the second-best team we have faced after (No. 2) Duke, and I felt like we competed really well with them. This was one of our most complete games. We just had a couple of lapses down the stretch that cost us.

Sara hit a really big shot for us; it was a game-winner.
