The theme parks know what their expenses are. I'm sure they're trying to appeal to as many people as possible with the range of pricing. And Florida resident prices were hiked because they were pretty low.

I think they're trying to open the demographic that would be interested in that park. They have probably . . . determined there is a void in a certain age they want to appeal to.

Of course, they're spending the money to get more people in the gate, but, more importantly, they want to keep them in the gate longer. If you lengthen the experience, you extend the chance for an extra meal or a sweatshirt.

Maybe this gets you to stay through one more meal or one more merchandise stop. There's just a lot of ramifications, a lot of things you do in your day that can help pay for it.

It was a marquee ride back when it opened in 1990. Everyone knows (the movie) 'Jaws,' and it's something everyone can relate to.

I remember people who were trying to make it run. Water isn't a good environment to run mechanical things in, so there are significant challenges. And this one runs in water.

If you can entice people to stay a little longer, even if it's just buying an extra meal, it's more revenue.

The last few years, they have fallen on hard times and only have 35 members.

If they market it, I'm sure it will actually bring people in. It definitely will keep people in the park.
