I had the adrenaline rushing for about four or five hours (before the game).

They told me they hated to see me sitting on the bench and wasting away. I told them I thought I could play for them and that I hoped I'd get the opportunity.

If he asked me for advice, I'd tell him that if you're going to play two sports in college, there's not a better guy to play for than coach Willingham. Everyone's situation is different, but for me, I knew I wanted to go to college, play both, then see which sport was for me.

Still way too early, and there's a long way to go. We're only like 10 or 11 games into this thing, and I have only played in a half of those, so a long way to go.

Whatever happens is going to happen. My job is to go out there and play ball. When a decision comes, that's when a lot of things may happen.

Well, they're going to do what they want to do. It's all their decision. I really don't have much reaction to that trade. When it's necessary, when decision time comes, hopefully everything works out.

It's a long spring and longer season, and who knows what will happen. Just a few weeks ago, I had no idea I would have the opportunity now that I have.

It's one of those things that makes sense for both sides. Things just work out a certain way, and they happen for a reason. I'm excited about a new opportunity, that's for sure.

It was pretty obvious at the start of spring that I was the odd man out. That makes it pretty hard to get comfortable.

I don't want to sit here and say anything negative about my time there. I think the best thing to say is that it did run its course. It was just a good time for everyone to move on.

I'm very excited to be here. Starting with a clean slate here is a good thing for me.

It is good timing. I had no idea four weeks ago that I'd be standing here with the opportunity I had presented to me.

I'm just excited to be here, and this is not a bad situation for me. Frankly, it looked like the White Sox did not have a spot for me, and I can't really blame them for what they did.
